Giveaway Days

Get a #freetree! Special giveaway days throughout the year help you get started with your garden at home! Everyone gets a free plant.

All our planting activities are for giveaway days – we support local homeowners, schools, community gardens and other societies. Our goal is to share as many plants as we can for the benefit of the environment. We tend to host giveaways in conjunction with environmental holidays to make these days more meaningful.

How do I Join a Giveaway Day? Subscribe to our mailing list for Giveaway Day notifications, or follow our social media pages for the latest announcements and updates. We have events regularly throughout the year!

Kelak Gelak Fund

Kelak Gelak Fund is a tree fund created specifically to provide free mature fruit trees for orphanages and children’s shelters. Kelak Gelak, which means ‘to laugh later’, enables children to plant the trees now and reap the rewards of a bountiful harvest later. The free trees from this fund will provide a continuous supply of fruits by creating fruit orchards in the homes of disadvantaged children. Each grafted fruit tree costs approximately RM30.

If you’d like to apply for fruit trees for orphanages and children’s shelters, please fill out the form linked below.

NGOs and Community Projects

Blue butterfly pea, also known as bunga telang

If you’re an NGO or working on a community project, such as a community garden or school project, we’re happy to provide plants! Please fill out the form linked below.

You will be asked who you are, what the project is, where the project is, when you intend to plant, what type of plants are required (and how many). Send information about the location of the planting zone: size, full sun/half sun. Note that you may be required to attend a volunteer session prior to obtaining the free trees.

You must apply at least 2 months in advance of your planting date and arrange for transportation for the plants yourself.
